It has come to our attention that documents falsely purporting to have been issued by Klapton Insurance Company Limited and purporting to bear my name and signature are being circulated in the United States of America as a fraudulent scheme to extract payments from third parties seeking to obtain surety cover in the United States of America.

These documents have been prepared and circulated by an individual styling himself as IRA GLASSER, purporting to act through a corporation called IRAGLASSER.COM LLC.

Klapton Insurance Company Limited does not provide surety cover to companies or clients who are based in the United States of America and does not provide any services in the United States of America.

Any documentation purporting to provide surety cover to a USA-based company or client which has purportedly been signed by me and issued by Klapton Insurance Company Limited is a forgery and will be part of some fraudulent scheme.

Any person in the USA receiving any such documentation should bring it to the immediate attention of the relevant authorities and provide a copy to us at [enquiries@klapton.com].
