The board of Klapton Insurance Company Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Justin Tuson as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with immediate effect.

For the past few years, Justin has been working earnestly with Klapton in the capacity of Non-Executive Director and Board Advisory Committee Chairman of the IT, Systems and PR Committee (ISP). Whilst retaining his position of Advisory Committee Chairman he has resigned as Non-Executive Director to embrace his new appointment.

Commencing on his new appointment, Mr Tuson said: “I am delighted to have the confidence of the board in driving forward Klapton’s ambitious IT strategy as new CTO. We have already embarked upon significant investments in delivering state-of-the-art software systems which will give Klapton’s decision makers the very best tools for our core business lines including our new Maritime surety business.”

He continued: “Klapton’s stellar performance increase over the past year will demand the very best technology to deliver timely, accurate information to our growing business. The IT road map over the next year will significantly boost Klapton position as a leader in the Surety, Insurance and Reinsurance markets.”
